Our target is
zero waste

So we’re committed to making recycling easier via improved design, as well as more informative and extensive customer support. But so far, we’re proud that all the mattresses returned to us already receive a second lease of life; they’re either recycled, or refurbished and redistributed through our outlet (so if you’d like to be on the front line of our recycling effort with us, you know where to go).

Engineered for Sleep
and a Better Tomorrow.

  1. 01 Every day, our team of over 20 sleep scientists, product designers, engineers, and neuroscientists is breaking ground and exploring new technology in our state-of-the-art sleep lab to revolutionize sleep and make it accessible to everyone.
  2. 02 The best thing about a great night’s sleep is the healthier, happier morning that follows, but we know there’s no brighter tomorrow in sight for the planet right now. So we’re using our technology and knowledge to play our part in solving the problems it faces.

WE STRIVE TO DO THE RIGHT THING

Our mission doesn’t stop with helping people around the world get the best night’s sleep. We’re committed to protecting and preserving our environment and reducing our global environmental footprint.

But we know we can do more: we’re sourcing FSC certified wood, we’re swapping even more new materials for recycled ones, and we’re developing new, responsible foam technologies… The work continues.
We’re using our engineering expertise to identify more environmentally responsible materials: so far we’ve removed as many pollutants as we can from our foam, we use sustainable wood, our textiles are OEKO-TEX certified (a safeguard against harmful substances), and we’re using more recycled materials (even plastic bottles) in our packaging and products, in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

We’re also part of the Better Cotton movement (BCI), which works to reduce the environmental impact of cotton production.

Improving Recyclability

We’re in talks with mattress recyclers worldwide to identify potential opportunities for used foams – and gain important learnings for future product development of more sustainable components.

Creatıng Long-Lastıng Products

All BeddingUS mattresses have a 10-year lifespan, meaning they need replacing less frequently. We’re always looking for new ways to repurpose or upcycle.

Packaging

GOAL: Increase recyclability of our packaging We’re always looking to improve our packaging to reduce the amount of materials needed and increase recyclability, while ensuring it’s as high-quality as can be.
